Actually we just wanted to film the elves. Hermundur, the psychic, told us that some of them still exist back at his home, on the island at the edge of the polar zone, in Iceland. Not astonishing here - in a country, where earth gaps like to spit boiled water once in a while, where toothcremeblue icecicles use to bathe in coldsweated waves, and where at nighttime, in the shade of the sleep, the sky breathes dancing lights.

They live in stones, it is said. They don't want to be disturbed, it is said.
I can't get rid of the suspicion, that the Icelanders are hiding information - the musicmanager in the capital, the teenagers in the parking lot, the man at the gas station in the middle of nowhere.

„You will see something“, Hermundur said. „Something you can't explain. Keep the camera running at night. Sometimes cameras can reveal what you can't see with your naked eyes.“

Why don' elves show themselves, although we are searching them so meticulously? Why is our film material all of the sudden destroyed?
